ABOUT US

Our Mission

We are a spirit-filled, bible-believing church that honors God the Father as the Creator of the universe, along with everything that is in it. Jesus Christ born, the Son of God born of a virgin is at the center of everything that we do. The Holy Spirit as a member of the Holy Trinity is our comforter and our guide, giving us power for living a sanctified and holy life. With power from the Holy Spirit, our mission consists of:

Exalting Christ: As on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples, they became empowered and Peter took the opportunity to explain to people outside of the disciples’ circle about the life of Jesus Christ and the meaning of His resurrection. We are called to expand the same message to everyone across the universe

Evangelizing: This is the mission left to us by our Savior before He ascended into heaven; to make all nations His disciples. We must teach people to exchange the life of sin for one of salvation living under the love of God, the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to be in fellowship with the Holy Spirit

Fellowship with Saints: As believers, we grow by studying the word of God, praying, and partaking in communion together. This is what the Lord expects of us once we receive Him.

OUR BELIEFS

THE BIBLE

Is the emphatic, infallible, incorruptible word of God in 66 books from Genesis to
Revelation with a common theme focused on the redeeming love of God. This
redeeming love starts in the Garden of Eden and continues

SALVATION

We believe that sin separates the human race from God. But God offered free salvation to mankind through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as stated in John 3:16. The word of God says “For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

BAPTISM

In Mark 1:9, Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ left us a legacy by being baptized through immersion. Right before Jesus ascended into heaven he also commanded us Matthew 28:19 to “make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”

In addition to baptism by immersion, we also believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, manifested by speaking in tongues, as highlighted in Acts 2:4. The power of the Holy Spirit is promised to us and is a guide to all us and a source of empowerment.
